•My check engine light came on; took my 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis to 3802 Louetta Driver's Auto "Repair" (yeah, the quotes are on purpose)

•Quoted $965.91 for cooling system/drive line service repairs

03.04.15

•Check engine light came on; codes read overheating

•Took car to mechanic; showed me the same thing Driver's Auto "Repair" showed me just 2.5 months prior

03.05.15

•Called Alex Gomez @ Driver's Auto "Repair"; he said he couldn’t do anything; he said I should have called him when the check engine light first came on (Driver's Auto "Repair" NEVER mentioned overheating) and therefore I voided my warranty

•New mehanic called; said “whoever did this last repair knew it wouldn’t last because there is gray silicone in the cracks of the manifold” (there is nothing mentioned on the Invoice stating this repair needed to be done and nothing was said to me about it)

•Mechanic said I did not have a $169.99 AC Delco battery that was listed on the Driver's Auto "Repair" invoice I shared with him; it was

an O’Reilley’s super start 2010 battery

•Found online investor, Greg Sands and contacted him @ his business web site mudlickmail.com/our-story

03.06.15

•Scott Darnell called as a result of that email contact; said he was the "operations manager" and “does not have a physical office because he goes from store to store”. He told me it’s his job to “in good faith make satisfied customers”; he called from the "accounting office" @ 281.374.1590 X2008 (his wife Rebecca Darnell's extension)

•Darnell and I agreed about the duplicated repairs; I signed a waiver, but Mr. Darnell would NOT consider settlement for the cracked manifold or battery

03.19.15

•Here are the other business names you'll find for them: Driver’s Auto Repair, Driver’s Auto Supply, Eurocare, GSSD Investments, RGSCO, Scottie’s Auto Repair, Spring City Car Care, Spring City Parts

•Names constantly intertwined via online include Rebecca Darnell, Michelle Montgomery, Buddy Glenn Driver, Martha Sanders, Sandra Perez Driver

•Their reported annual revenue? $460,000! And me? It took me two days of work to pay for the battery I did not receive! I don't mind paying for the manifold since it needed replaced; however, Driver's Auto "Repair" didn't even tell me about it and made a temporary "fix" without telling me; my guess is they didn't tell me about it because my credit card limit was already maxed with the initial repairs and the additional part they called me about later and they felt they couldn't get any more out of me and decided to just send me on my way

•I'm seeking to help others find their justice and that's why I'm sharing my story and research findings. If I can’t get my money back for the battery and for being placed in potential harm's way because of the temporary "fix" to my manifold, then I’m going to help others get their justice

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Drivers Auto Repair Cons: Customer service, Workmanship, Lack of integrity.

Location: Houston, Texas

Thank you for sharing this information. This is the first time a business charged me for things they have not done and refused a refund.

I am going to small claim court for this. This kind of business should be allowed to exist and I think anyone who wasn't treated properly should do their best to bring it to justice.
