This company tried to take advantage of me and overcharge by almost a grand, presumably because I'm a woman and don't know much about cars. After calling nearby dealerships and checking their price of over $2100 to fix struts and a control arm.

Once I had a better idea of what it SHOULD cost and called them to get an explanation, they revised their price and changed it to $1200.

I'll NEVER go back there or recommend it to a friend. EVERY dealership I called flat out said "they're trying to rip you off" and recommended I refuse to do business with them.

Location: Spring, Texas

This place is a joke the employees drink while working on your vehicles. The management smokes *** while on company time.

Not to mention they ghost vehicles in order to pass inspections. They refuse to pay the employees what is owed them. If I were a consumer I would stay as far away as possible from the Gosling location in the Woodlands.

They are known to tell you that your brakes have 20% life left when you actually have about 50%. They come up with these obscene problems with your vehicle that don't actually exist.

I found several sites where people are frustrated at the lack of honesty and poor customer service from Driverโ€™s Auto Repair stores in the Houston area. After extensive research, I found legitimate contact information and would love to help these people.

I experienced the same issues as described by so many, but was able to come to an agreement on only one repair. Because complete justice was undone, I feel I can be awarded by helping others.

After researching for a couple of days, I found Greg Sands, an investor for Driverโ€™s Auto Repair. It was through his business web site, http://mudlickmail.com/our-story/, that I was able to leave a message for him. He forwarded my concern to Scott Darnell.

The registered agent for Driverโ€™s Auto Repair is Scott Darnell.

He calls himself the โ€œoperations managerโ€ and โ€œdoes not have a physical office because he goes from store to storeโ€. He told me itโ€™s his job to โ€œin good faith make satisfied customersโ€. Based on that, any of the store numbers would be one great method to reach him. However, I had particular success with 281.374.1590.

He called this the โ€œaccounting officeโ€. It went directly to voice mail, but I left messages for him on x2008, which is Rebecca Darnell, his wife.

I hope this helps others find their justice.

ATTENTION HOUSTON MARKET!!!!!!!

THIS COMPANY IS OWNED BY SCOTT DARNELL AND GREG SANDS. THAT'S RIGHT...THE SAME GREG SANDS THAT RIPPED OFF ALL OF HOUSTON FOR YEARS WITH HIS COMPANY MOBILE CAR CARE...LATER RENAMED AMERICA'S SERVICE STATION (BECAUSE THEY GOT A REPUTATION FOR BEING DISHONEST AND HAD TO LEAVE THE HOUSTON MARKET AFTER BEING EXPOSED IN THE HOUSTON PRESS AND GUIDE...GOOGLE IT, IT IS A GOOD READ)

THEY ARE AT IT AGAIN AND NOW STARTING IN JUNE THEY ARE BEING AUDITED BY THE U.S DEPT.

OF LABOR, WAGE AND HOURS FOR STEALING FROM THE EMPLOYEES!!! I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT SOMEONE WITH SOME PULL WILL AGAIN EXPOSE THESE CROOKS FOR WHAT THEY ARE AND THROW THEM OUT OF OUR CITY ONCE AND FOR ALL. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW THAT THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED!! BY THE WAY...ALL OF THESE LOCATIONS ARE FOR SALE.

JUST GOOGLE IT.

THEY JUST WANT TO CASH IN AT THE EXPENSE OF THE GOOD PEOPLE OF HOUSTON. LOW LIFE SUB-HUMAN PIECES OF RUBBISH!!!
